What are the 'Student Friendlies'?
The 'Student Friendlies' is an exciting venture between Lancaster University Students' Union, University of Cumbria Students' Union and the Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce. The aim of the Awards is to recognise those businesses which make valuable contributions to student life in Lancaster.
There are many ways for a business to be student friendly, much more than just offering 10% off purchases. The student market matters to businesses in Lancaster, these Awards will find out which businesses matter to students.

Selection Process
We are currently asking students across Lancaster to nominate the businesses that feel are the most student friendly and the reasoning behind this.
Once this process is complete, the top six businesses in each category, who meet criteria, will be put forward to a panel from LUSU, UCSU and the Chamber of Commerce, who will decide on the top three businesses.
